I Love Adverbs Dearly

I love adverbs dearly

I toss them about liberally

Why do grammarians hate adverbs so avidly?

How come they miss the Adverbian charm so obviously?

Why insist on 'she said, he said' so fervently?

What's wrong with 'she said angrily and he said cravenly'?

Why even have such discriminatory rules, frankly?

What crime did adverbs commit, honestly?

I've never understood the need for such rules, really.

I don't see why adverbs must be avoided so diligently.

Because, you see, I love adverbs madly

I wish the whole world would use them more lavishly.
